While no visit to the islands would be complete without a visit to the Grand Cayman's famous Seven Mile beach, (often seen on lists of the world's best beaches), a good number of other attractions beckon.
Major Grand Cayman attractions include swimming with the stingrays at Stingray City, close
encounters with sea turtles at the turtle farm, or just relaxing the day away at Seven Mile Beach.
Within walking distance from George Town, landlubbers can take in nautical history at the national museum and more sea bounty at the Cayman Maritime Treasure Museum. For quiet walks and stunning natural beauty, also don't miss the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park.
For up-close looks at neighboring sea denizens, take a trip to the sea turtle farm for eye-to-eye meetings with either tiny turtles or 400 lb. specimens -- or
ride aboard the very exciting Atlantis Deep Dive Submarine (located right next door to the cruise ship terminal) for more encounters with Cayman marine life.
For encounters with stingrays, head northwest for one of the Grand Cayman's most popular tourists attractions, Stingray City.
