America's tallest.
• Coeur D'Alene boasts the tallest living Christmas tree in America. The grand fir tree stands 162 feet tall, and each year it is decorated for the holidays with 40,000 lights and topped with a 10-foot star.
• Santa, Idaho made headlines in 2005 when it received $20,000 to change its name to SecretSanta.com as part of a promotional effort by the gift exchange site. The town reverted back to its original name a year later.
• A Christmas light show spectacular (with a heavy base beat) has been wowing holiday revelers since it was first created in 2005 by the Cadger family in Meridian, Idaho.
