And recognizing that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, why not combine the greeting with the eating?

The Robin Hood Test Kitchen shares two of their favorite ways to say I Love You!

On Valentine's Day morning (or birthdays or wedding anniversaries!), pancakes deliver easy and delicious messages of love to someone special.

Chocolate Pancakes

Prepare one recipe for 6-7 pancakes according to package directions, adding 3 tbsp cocoa powder and 2 tbsp granulated sugar to dry mix. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with sliced strawberries.

Heart-Shaped Pancakes

Prepare plain or chocolate pancake batter. Pour batter onto the griddle making a heart shape. Cook as directed. For easy shaping put batter into an icing bag or clean milk bag and snip off corner to give a 1/2 inch opening. Serve with your favorite pancake toppings.
